                         Mission  Statement

This site is a comemorative site to a real working camp that once existed in Rhinebeck New York whether you loved camp, or it was that harrid place, without some meeting place you can never return fully to those days.  I encourage you to get in touch with as many former campers as you can, so this site can be a connection to your own past. Thank-you for your participation. This site would like to thank the contribution of Don and Leslie Dunkenberg who faithfully kept the contact names of campers and couselors for 27 years Thank-you Don and Leslie.    William Brower         WebMaster   Counselor boys bunks  6 and 8  Athletic couselor  1974, Camper 1961-1964, Camper Helper 1966-1968. I Took photos of the painting on top and the last remnant of art that was left on the basement wall in the main house courtesy of the Dunkenbergs.  The oil painting of horse riders I believe was contracted by Mrs. Treadwell in 1968.

The house and bunkhouse painting was all that was left of the four walled mural in the basement. If anyoned has photos of the full mural please forward to the Webmaster.   Photos taken by William Brower
